iHealth Blood Pressure Cuff

My LCD shows a black battery symbol with a line going through it. What does that mean?

This means you have a low battery. Change out the batteries on your cuff.

My LCD shows “Er 0” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 0” means that the pressure system was unstable before your measurement was taken. Try taking a measurement again without moving.

My LCD shows “Er 1” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 1” means that the cuff failed to detect your systolic pressure. Try taking a measurement again without moving.

My LCD shows “Er 2” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 2” means that the cuff failed to detect your diastolic pressure. Try taking a measurement again without moving.

My LCD shows “Er 3” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 3” means that the pneumatic system is blocked, or the cuff is too tight during inflation. Apply the cuff correctly and try again.

My LCD shows “Er 4” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 4” means that the pneumatic system is leaking or the cuff is too loose during inflation. Apply the cuff correctly and try again.

My LCD shows “Er 5” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 5” means that means the cuff pressure is above 300mmHg. Wait five minutes and measure again. If the error appears again, please contact your local iHealth distributor.

My LCD shows “Er 6” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 6” means that means the cuff pressure has been over 15mmHg for more than three minutes. Wait five minutes and measure again. If the error appears again, please contact your local iHealth distributor.

My LCD shows “Er 7” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 7” means that there was an EEPROM accessing error. Wait five minutes and measure again. If the error appears again, please contact your local iHealth distributor.

My LCD shows “Er 8” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er 8” means that there was a parameter-checking error. Wait five minutes and measure again. If the error appears again, please contact your local iHealth distributor.

My LCD shows “Er A” on the display. What does that mean?

“Er A” means that there was a pressure sensor parameter error. Wait five minutes and measure again. If the error appears again, please contact your local iHealth distributor.

There’s no response on the display when I press a button or install the batteries. What does that mean?
