San Mateo County Vaccine Eligibility Requirements

San Mateo County is now vaccinating members of Phase 1A (healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities) and Phase 1B residents aged 65 and older as vaccine supply allows.

Beginning February 22, the County of San Mateo will expand COVID-19 vaccinations to teachers and child care providers, first responders and food and agricultural workers who are eligible under the state’s Phase 1B as supply allows.

Proof of employment will be required upon check in at the administration site for healthcare workers and a government issued ID is required for patients in the 65+ group. For second dose appointments, you MUST bring your vaccination card.

Proof of employment can be:

• Healthcare worker employee badge or
• Professional license or
• Payment stub from healthcare provider with your name
• For 65 and older: Proof of age and SM County Resident
